A great snowy location with broad, long valley runs for skiing and snowboarding.

Cross-country skiing, hiking, or simply en­joy­ing the scen­ery – you can do all of that and more on Dach­stein glacier at 2,700 m above sea level.

This glacier offers snow­board­ers and free­ski­ers a set-up that brims over with variety. Relativ­ely flat north-facing slopes gua­ran­tee ideal snow cond­it­ions!

Tip: you should also visit the Sky Walk, the Ice Palace as well as the Dachstein suspension bridge with the stairway to nothingness - the Ski amadé ski pass is also valid on the Dachstein!

You will find the best ski & snow­board in­struct­ors in the region close to the Hotel Steir­erhof. The ski schools offer courses in down­hill- and cross-country skiing as well as snow­boarding.

The skiing mountains / ski schools are reachable in just a few min­utes by ski bus or car, you will also be able to rent out your equip­ment there – then head straight for the slopes. Hotel guests get-10% on rental prices from our partner Ski Willy.
